Across Washington, small-engine repair shops get backed up in early spring, so service mowers over the winter. Many yards and feed stores close earlier on weekends. Vancouver is in Washington, in the Pacific Northwest, where winters are mild and wet, summers are dry and pleasant, and outdoor recreation drives a lot of local business; hours change little through the year. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Vancouver follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I needed a gasket for the center console of a 1982 Harley Davidson super glide too because the one that was on there I believe was from 1982 based on the cracking and condition of it. Didn't want to spend 800 bucks on a Harley-Davidson one so tried my luck at Ace hardware. Not only did Bruce help me locate a gasket that fit perfectly in the center console itself but when you close the cap there's a nice little recessed area that it fits down into perfect I believe it looks better than the original. Definitely will hold up better. So big shout out to Big Bruce I will be coming back there for all my additional Harley-Davidson parts. *Not an official Harley-Davidson distributor (But unofficially you would be surprised what they have been able to come through with)

Today (7/8/2026), I finally spoke up. I shop at Ace Hardware regularly because I'd rather support them than drive to Lowe's or Home Depot. Unfortunately, every time I go into this location, I leave feeling like I'm being watched instead of welcomed. On multiple visits, it has felt like the same two employees follow me through the store or keep an unusually close eye on me. As a Maintenance Supervisor who purchases supplies for apartment communities, I come into the store to do my job not to be treated like I'm under suspicion. Today I decided to respectfully ask them why I always seem to be singled out. No customer should have to wonder whether they're being judged because of how they look instead of how they behave. I believe every customer deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. I'm sharing my experience because businesses should strive to make everyone feel welcome, not stereotyped or profiled. I hope Ace Hardware takes concerns like this seriously and reminds its employees that great customer service starts with treating every person equally.

So much for the β€œhelpful place” staff isn’t very welcoming, especially the guys in paint. Didn’t know what I was talking about & didn’t really help me find it. Ended up finding what I needed on my own thankfully. When I needed paint mixed they were not helpful or informative, the guy mixing seemed very irritated that I needed a small can of paint mixed. Lady at the register seemed nice enough though.

Went into buy a 25 dollar item. She couldn't break a hundred dollar bill, so i said have the manager come and get smaller bills from the safe. She refused! I will absolutely never ever shop there again! Guess cash is no more good. I'll do my business at a place that wants to satisfy uts customer's!

The lack of willingness to help from employees at this store was honestly impressive. The store was not busy, yet when I approached two different employees for help finding an item β€” or even just to check whether it was available β€” neither was willing to assist. Both acted annoyed that I even asked and simply pointed vaguely toward an area saying, β€œlook over there.” Very disappointing customer service experience.
